Evicted hotel guests arrested for drugs and prostitution

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Management at the South Seas Hotel at 1007 South Ocean Boulevard called Myrtle Beach Police Sunday at 2:45 a.m. to evict hotel guests suspected of drug and prostitution activity.

According to a Myrtle Beach Police report, officers responded to the complaint made by the South Seas Hotel and upon entering the room where the offenders were staying police found two bags of marijuana weighing a total of 3 grams, one bag with two rocks of cocaine weighing 1.6 grams, a digital scale and over $1,300 dollars partially stuff in a bible all of which was in plain view.

One of the offenders involved, who had two previous outstanding warrants, claimed that the drugs found in the hotel were hers and for her personal use.

Police placed the offender under arrest charging her with possession with intent to distribute, then transported her to the Myrtle Beach jail.
