Prostitution arrest at Econolodge in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) On Thursday, Myrtle Beach police arrested a woman for prostitution at the Econolodge on 1401 South Ocean Boulevard.

According to the Myrtle Beach police report, two officers performed a random prostitution sting where an undercover cop placed a call on to a woman listed under the escort section, and arranged for the woman to meet him at his room for a $200 escort session.

When the woman arrived she agreed to perform oral sex, and confirmed that she needed $200 dollars up front for the one hour session.

The second officer involved in the sting who was monitoring the situation came out of the rear bedroom and identified himself, the undercover officer did the same and arrested the woman for prostitution as well as driving to the motel with a suspended license which was under suspension for a prior DUI charge.
