Myrtle Beach loiterers end up with drug charges

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Three men on Chester Street in Myrtle Beach were charged with misdemeanor loitering -- drug traffic by Myrtle Beach police on Monday.

According to a Myrtle Beach Police report, between 7:30p.m. and 8p.m. three different men where stopped on Chester Street for three different drug related charges.

One of the first men charged had been caught in a drug exchange after witnessed reported him making several phone calls and meeting up with two separate men passing something off, Myrtle Beach Police report states. One of these men claimed to have bought a "dime bag" of drugs from Dale Franklin McEachern Jr. of Franklin Street, who was charged. The drugs in the bag were fake.

In a second case reported by Myrtle Beach Police, Joshua Dominic Fortenberry, 26, of Canterbury Drive, was charged after he was seen walking in the middle of the street and admitted to officers that he was trying to buy drugs. He was also charged with walking on a highway.

Willie Everett Bivins, 31, of King Street, was also charged in the third incident by Myrtle Beach Police after being in a known drug area. The responding officer had been told previously that the man used illegal narcotics.
