Burglary suspects carry TV down street

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - Conway Police have arrested four men after a witness claimed he spotted two of the suspects carrying a flat screen television down the street.

According to Conway Police Department spokesperson Catina Hipp, officers arrested Rodrick Sealey, 26, Shane Hucks, 23, Taj Smalls, 19, and Walter Cuttino, 18, all of Conway, in connection with a home break-in at a house in the 1300 block of 7th Avenue Thursday morning.

Hipp explains, shortly before 9:00 a.m., officers responded to the area of Racepath Avenue and Gene Street in regards to a suspicious activity complaint. The caller claimed that her spotted two men walking in the area carrying a flat screen television.

Officers were able to locate the men, and after investigating the situation, learned that they, along with two others, had broken into a residence on 7th Avenue.

Hipp did not detail how the other two suspects were involved, but did confirm Sealey is charged with first degree burglary and received a $50,000 surety bond.  Hucks, Smalls, and Cuttino are charged with second degree burglary and each received a $25,000 surety bond.

According to online booking records from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center, all four suspects remain incarcerated Monday morning.
