Man beaten in Carolina Forest

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) According to a Horry County Police report published in the Carolina Forest Chronicle, a 30 year old Myrtle Beach man says he was beaten by two suspects in the Carolina Forest area.

The victim had been walking on Gateway Drive on his way to a friend's house at about 1 a.m. Aug. 15 when the suspects got out of a white four-door car and assaulted him.

The victim was taken to Conway Hospital with a swollen eye and cuts on his forehead, and says he doesn't know why the two suspects beat him up.

The victim described the suspects as white males, both about 22 years old. One was about 5 feet 6 inches tall and the other about 6 feet.
