GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) Three Grand Strand men are behind bars in Georgetown County for attempted murder and assault and battery by a mob.
According the Georgetown Police Department, the shooting occurred around 10 p.m. on Friday, August 17 at the Georgetown Housing Authority on Rainey Drive. The victim was transported to Georgetown Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The following day, 18-year-old Christopher Ryan Green of Georgetown, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact of a felony. Green is believed to be the getaway driver. He released from custody later that day on a $30,000 bond.
A second suspect, 19-year-old Raheem Cornelious Burgess of Georgetown, was taken into custody in connection with this shooting. A post on the Georgetown Police Department's Facebook page identifies him as the "trigger man."
Burgess turned himself in to authorities Sunday night. He is being held on a $60,000 bond in the Georgetown County Detention Center.
The third suspect, 20-year-old Drayven Deshawn Beckman of Conway was taken into custody Tuesday night.
Burgess and Beckman have been charged with attempted murder and assault and battery by a mob. A bond hearing for Beckman has been scheduled for Wednesday.
