Friday Night Wine Tastings in a Suite overlooking The Market Common
Fridays in September & October from 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Travinia Italian Kitchen will host a wine tasting in a Suite overlooking The Market Common every Friday evening in September and October from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. For $10, guests will enjoy wine tastings and appetizer pairings in 104 Radcliffe, a suite with a balcony overlooking The Market Common. The lobby entrance is located in between Barnes & Noble and Travinia Italian Kitchen, and signs will direct guests to the event. Guests may pay at the event. Call 843 233 3500 for reservations.
DeVille Street Farmers Market
Saturdays in September & October from 8am - 12pm
The Market Common will continue the DeVille Street Farmers Market until the end of October. The Market features fresh, locally grown produce and locally caught seafood. Each week at 11am, Williams-Sonoma will host "Cooking at the Market", a chef demonstration series featuring produce from the Farmer's Market.
Great StARTs fundraiser for the Art Museum of Myrtle Beach
Thursday, September 13, from 5 - 7 pm
The Market Common will host Great StARTs, a fundraising event for the Franklin G. Burroughs and Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum. The event will feature food & drink samples in participating restaurants & stores including Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar, Gordon Biersch, Travinia Italian Kitchen, Devo Olive Oil, Ultimate California Pizza, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Nacho Hippo, Anthropologie, and Pottery Barn. $10 tickets include the tastings at the participating stores & restaurants, and must be purchased in advance at Piggly Wiggly at The Market Common or at the Art Museum.

Restaurants at The Market Common will feature special pre-fixed menus showcasing their cuisine the week of September 13 - 20. Participating restaurants include King Street Grille, Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar, Gordon Biersch, Travinia Italian Kitchen, Ultimate California Pizza, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, and Nacho Hippo. Additionally, Cold Stone Creamery, Canipes Chocolates & Candies and Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt will offer special desert discounts for the week. All menus & discounts will be posted on The Market Common's website.
Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art's Wearable Art Luncheon at Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar

Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art will host the 2nd Annual Wearable Art Luncheon at Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar on Thursday, September 27 from 11am - 1:30pm. The event will feature a silent auction with wearable art including hats, jewelry, scarves, and more from local stores and artists. $30 tickets include lunch and can be purchased at PawleysMusic.com.
5th Annual Oktoberfest

Waccamaw Area Heart Walk
October 13 in Grand Park
The American Heart Association will host their annual Heart Walk at The Market Common in Grand Park. Participants will walk either a 1 mile or 2 mile route through The Market Common. Festivities include food, live music, and activities.
Myrtle Beach Wine Fest
October 20 from 11am - 7pm in Valor Park
The 3rd Annual Wine Fest in Valor Park will feature over 100 wines to sample, live music, food, beer, and vendors. Admission is free. $5 Wine Tasting Glasses will be available for purchase, and all 2 oz. samples range from $1- $6.
November 4 from 12 - 3pm
The American Culinary Federation will host the Souper Supper in Valor Park featuring soups from over 40 area restaurants. Admission is $10 and includes all soup samples and breads. Proceeds benefit Horry Georgetown Technical College culinary students.
