CAUGHT ON CAM: Car break-in suspect uses stolen credit cards

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A man caught on surveillance tape in a North Myrtle Beach convenience store is wanted for several reported car break-ins.

 

According to North Myrtle Beach spokesperson Pat Dowling, the man pictured to the right was allegedly involved in several car break-ins that occurred in the parking lots of miniature golf courses in North Myrtle Beach.

Dowling did not specify a time frame in which the break-ins occurred, but the surveillance camera displays the date of Aug. 9 at 9:50 p.m. specifying the camera is angled toward the front door of the business.

The suspect went to two convenience stores and used stolen credit cards to purchase cigarettes, adds Dowling. The suspect was observed getting into a black, four door car.

Other unknown subjects were also inside the vehicle, but were not captured on the store's surveillance system. 

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call North Myrtle Beach Public Safety office at (843) 280-5511.
