DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The Darlington County Drug units were busy Monday making multiple arrests after two different marijuana busts were made as part of an eradication operation.

According to Captain Andy Locklair with DCSO, agents discovered 10 plants at 3412 Confederate Drive in the Dovesville area of the county. That discovery lead to the arrests of 17-year-old Phillip Register II and Cynthia Register, 50. Both are charged with manufacturing marijuana.

In a second drug bust, agents discovered four more plants on 1128 Mineral Springs Street in the Oats area of Darlington County. Levar Baker, 33, was arrested for manufacturing marijuana.

The two busts were part of an eradication operation that was conducted Monday with the help of SLED. There are more operations planned this summer, says Locklair.
