MBPD: 5 men wanted for armed robbery near Skate Park

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) The Myrtle Beach Police is on the hunt for five people accused of beating a man near a Myrtle Beach Elementary School.

Officers responded to the strong armed robbery shortly after 7 p.m. Friday near the 600 block of 29th Avenue North.

According to the Myrtle Beach Police incident report, the victim was selling ice cream and drinks to people at Skate Park in the area when he was approached by five men.

The victim told police the group pulled him to the ground and began kicking him repeatedly.

The suspects managed to get off with $180.

According to the report, the suspects were described as four black males and one white male. The victim couldn't provide any additional information to police concerning the suspects' descriptions but the victim told to police that if he saw the suspects again, he would recognize them.
