MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Police in Myrtle Beach have arrested a man they say is connected to a recent string of armed robberies.
Martin Espinoza-Urbina, 25, was arrested on Sunday and charged with two counts of armed robbery.
According to reports WMBF News obtained from Myrtle Beach Police, Espinoza-Urbina has been charged for his role in the armed robbery of Hungry Howie's on North Kings Highway on May 20 and the Nuestra Tierra on South Kings Highway on June 22.
Myrtle Beach Police arrested another suspect after responding to a reported armed robbery Sunday night. That suspect has been charged with at least seven armed robberies along the Grand Strand this summer, including Hungry Howie's and Nuestra Tierra.
Bond for Espinoza-Urbina has not been set. He remains incarcerated at the Myrtle Beach Jail.
