FCSO: Can you ID this suspect?

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Investigators are asking for help from the public to locate a possible suspect in the burglary of a local business.

Captain Michael Nunn, spokesman for the Florence County Sheriff's Office, says the possible suspect was captured on video surveillance inside a convenience store at 3952 West Palmetto Street on the evening of July 1. That man is believed to have stolen merchandise and an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect, from images on the convenience store's surveillance video, is described as a black male with black hair.

Anyone with knowledge of the identity and/or whereabouts of the subject is asked to contact the Florence County Sheriff's Office at 843-665-2121, ext. 340 or Crime Stoppers of the Pee Dee at 1-866-CRIME-SC. You do not have to reveal your identity to leave information.

    A candle light vigil was held on January 20, 2018, in honor of 14-year old Taylor Ibarra or “Tay Tay”, who took his own life during Christmas break last year after his family members say he was bullied at school. Taylor was in 8th grade and attended Aynor Middle School.
