MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – One man is facing time behind bars after police say he held a woman in a hotel room against her will.

The incident report from Myrtle Beach Police says officers responded to a hotel on the 1400 block of South Ocean Boulevard early Saturday morning to find the "highly intoxicated" suspect and the victim on the third floor.

The victim had several bruises and lacerations on her face and upper body, and claims the suspect kept her in that room against her will since Friday night. The woman also reported that the suspect forced her into non-consensual sex during that time.

The suspect, 31-year-old Jeremiah Ryan Hill from Woodlawn, VA, was taken into custody Saturday and charged with criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Booking records for J. Reuben Long Detention Center show Hill remains incarcerated Monday morning on $60,000 bond.
