Report: Man threatens couple that crashed into girlfriend's car

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Police in Myrtle Beach are looking for the man that reportedly pulled a gun on the two people involved in an accident with his girlfriend.

When police arrived at the intersection of 21st Avenue South and Yaupon Drive around 10:30 Monday night where the collision occurred, the man reported to have pulled the gun had already fled the scene, according to the incident report WMBF News attained from Myrtle Beach Police.

The suspect's girlfriend claimed she was driving in that area with her boyfriend when another car, occupied by a man and a woman, drove through a stop sign and they collided.

The report continues to say that the suspect exited the passenger seat of the vehicle and approached the man and woman in the other car, saying repeatedly, "What the [expletive]? Why did you do that?"

The suspect then walked over to driver's side of his girlfriend's vehicle and asked her to give him his "package." That's when the victims claim they heard the girlfriend trying to persuade the suspect that "it wasn't necessary."

At that point, the victims claimed they saw the suspect with a small, silver revolver, pointing it in their direction and again asking why they hit them.

The girlfriend asked the victims to call police, and the report says the suspect fled in the direction of Ocean Boulevard when authorities arrived.
