LUMBERTON,
NC (WMBF) – A sweet 16 bash in Robeson County over the weekend left one young man from Pembroke dead, and authorities on the hunt for a suspect.

Branch, spokesman for the Robeson County Sheriff's Office, says the shooting
that killed 22-year-old Patrick Yancy Musselwhite of Pembroke was a result of
an argument at a birthday party Saturday night.
Branch says
Musselwhite arrived at the celebration with his girlfriend and three other
individuals, and were heading toward their car to leave when the fight erupted.
More than one shot was fired, but no one else was injured, Branch said.
Musselwhite's friends were
the only partygoers still on the scene when police arrived.
Police have not yet released
a suspect description and urge anyone with information about this incident to
contact the Robeson County Sheriff's Office.
