Man wanted for assault after argument with girlfriend

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Warrants have been issued for a man believed to have assaulted his girlfriend outside of her workplace Monday morning.

The incident report from Myrtle Beach Police says the female victim was working at a restaurant on the 800 block of South Kings Highway around 4 a.m. Monday morning when her live-in boyfriend showed up and began harassing her.

The suspect eventually asked the victim to come outside with him, at which point he allegedly slapped her and took the cash from her server book. The victim claims they had been arguing because the suspect was upset that she was working the night shift.

The victim was treated by EMS on the scene and warrants were issued for the suspect for criminal domestic violence and larceny.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this suspect, described as a 23-year-old black male standing 6 feet tall and weighing 140 pounds, is asked to call the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
