MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Myrtle Beach Police are still looking for the man that reportedly stabbed a male victim in the area of 37th Avenue North late Monday night.
A witness to this incident told police in the report WMBF News attained from Myrtle Beach Police that the victim had walked her son down the street to play with friends.
The victim was walking back down 37th Avenue when he told her he had been stabbed. The witness says she ran down the street to where she thought the alleged stabbing had occurred and saw the suspect, described as a 23-year-old black male with a tattoo on his right hand, climbing over a fence.
An additional witness in the area of the incident says they did not know the victim had been stabbed but saw the victim confront the suspect and present a pistol before the suspect fled.
An additional witness says they did not see the occurrence either, but saw the suspect in the area of the apartments and chased him to the rear of the property where the suspect jumped the fence.
The report says the victim was driven to the hospital by a friend, and his condition is unknown at this time.
Though witnesses identified the person of interest, no arrest has been made in connection with this case. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Myrtle Beach Police as soon as possible.
