3 men on run after Darlington home invasion

Posted: Updated:

DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) - A Darlington County homeowner was tied up by three masked men Monday night during a home invasion, and now deputies are searching for the suspects.

According to Darlington County Sheriff's Captain Andy Locklair, deputies responded to a home invasion around 10:00 p.m. Monday night near the 600 block of Jamestown Avenue in Darlington.

Investigators say that three masked gunmen entered the home and tied up the victim. While the victim was bound, the armed trio moved through the home, stealing items of value.

The victim was not injured and was able to call 911. The Darlington County Sheriff's Office responded with Bloodhounds, and additional manpower was called to search for the suspects.

A trail led officials to an area where they believe the three suspects got into a car and fled the scene.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Darlington County Sheriff's Office at 843-398-4501.
