Vandalism reported at West Florence High

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) School district officials say police are now investigating vandalism reported at West Florence High School.

Pam Little-McDaniel, spokeswoman for Florence School District One, says the vandalism incident was reported on Saturday, June 23 at a storage building behind the school's track field.

Little-McDaniel says their was paint on the exterior and interior of the building, with paint on the walls, floor, ceiling, mowers, carts and weightlifting equipment.

It did not appear that anything was taken from the building. The cost of damages to the building has not yet been determined.

This is not the first time vandalism has been reported at West Florence High School. A maintenance supervisor reported a vandalism incident on April 16 with an finial damage estimate of $15,000.
