CONWAY, SC (WMBF) The Horry County Fire Rescue officials are looking for volunteers to participate in a statewide emergency services exercise scheduled to begin July 9.
The HCFR need volunteers for the 2012 South Carolina Weapons of Mass Destruction Specialized Response Team exercise from July 9 to July 13, according to Horry County Fire Rescue Web Site.
The five day exercise will bring multiple public safety agencies from around the state to Horry County to test the system of specialized response teams in the event of an actual terrorist attack in SC.
The HCFR team need volunteers to play the role of unarmed victims and students in various scenarios.
