LAURINBURG, NC (WMBF) - The man wanted in connection to the shooting death of a man and woman in Laurinburg has turned himself in.
Lieutenant Mark Godwin, spokesman for the Laurinburg Police Department, tells WMBF News that 24-year-old Terry Edward Lowery turned himself in Thursday in connection to
the shooting on Tarboro Street in Laurinburg around 6 p.m. on June
19. A family member drove him up to Robeson County from Scotland County, where
is resides.
One male victim died as a result of his injuries, and the female victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Lowery is currently in the custody of the Robeson County jail.
