ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) The
Robeson County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man found his son apparently
shot to death in his home Saturday.
Captain Anthony Thompson,
spokesman for the Robeson County Sheriff's Office, tells WMBF News that
24-year-old Doyle Kyle James was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds in his
home on the 200 block of Stoltz Road by his father around 9:49 a.m. Saturday.
James' father found him in his
bedroom when he went to check on him. James' death is now being
investigated as a homicide.
Captain Thompson says the
sheriff's office has identified a person of interest in their investigation but
has not yet released that information.
