LAKE CITY, SC (WMBF) Three men are facing charges for a drive-by shooting that occurred earlier this year, according to the Lake City Police Department.

Lake City Police Chief Billy Brown tells WMBF News that several individuals were in a vehicle in Lake City on April 13 when they discharged several rounds into a home on the 200 block of Smith Street.

Brown said the suspects were looking for another individual and believed he would be in that home, but no one was injured as shots rang out.

After the drive-by shooting, three suspects were entered into the NCIC (National Crime Information Center) and apprehended in different counties before being transported back to Lake City to face a judge in a bond hearing.

Those suspects, 33-year-old Richard Salters, 27-year-old Macio Cooper, and 33-year-old King Solomon McCrea, all of Lake City, are facing charges for with attempted murder, possession of a weapon by a felon, discharging a firearm into a dwelling and conspiracy.
