DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) Darlington investigators were on the scene of a deputy involved crash late Friday night.
Darlington County Sheriff Wayne Byrd tweeted a picture of the officer's car collision at 401 and 52 bypass in Darlington Friday at 10:22 p.m.
Investigators are not yet saying what caused a vehicle to flip at the intersection of Highway 401 and the 52 Bypass, but the Darlington County Sheriff's Office reports that a deputy was involved in the crash.
Lance Corporal Judd Jones with the South Carolina Highway Patrol tells WMBF News there were two occupants in the other vehicle involved in the crash. Both were wearing seatbelts and neither were injured.
The deputy's condition was not immediately known and investigators are not reporting who is responsible for the wreck at this point or if any charges will be filed.
The investigation is ongoing.
