BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WMBF) After a month-long investigation, detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office have arrested two men in connection with the recent break-ins of the Olde Fort Golf Course.

Del Routh, spokesman for the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, tells WMBF News that detectives have been investigating the break-ins at the Olde Fort Golf Course in the Winnabow area since the beginning of May.

On Thursday, 23-year-old Michael David Nucci and 16-year-old male suspect were taken into custody in connection with those crimes.

Routh said investigators searched Nucci's home and found property stolen from the golf course.

Both suspects were charged with four counts of felony breaking and entering and four counts of larceny after breaking and entering.

The investigation into these break-ins is still ongoing at this time as investigators search for more stolen property, including a Club Car. Anyone with any further information please contact Detective Justin Stadler or Detective Tate Bond at 910-253-2777.
