Darlington Police say 2 men beat victim with bat

DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) Two Darlington men have been arrested after police say they beat their victim with a baseball bat.

The Darlington City Police Department has arrested Samuel Dean Wyatt, 50, and 20-year-old  Justin Wayne Wyatt, for attempted murder and first degree burglary.

Kimberly Nelson, Public Information Officer for DPD, says Samuel and Justin Wyatt entered 415 N. Main St. around midnight May 25, and beat the victim in the head and body with a baseball bat. The victim had to seek medical attention for his injuries.

The U.S. Marshalls service aided in the arrests of Samuel and Justin Wyatt.
