One man is in jail after an undercover operation.
Undercover Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics agents picked up more than 20 pounds of high-grade marijuana with a street value of up to $40,000.
They learned that someone was mailing a shipment of marijuana to Savannah and while working with the United States Postal Service, agents were able to intercept the package when it arrived at a business on Savannah's west side.
Terry Lavan McCoy, 35, was arrested Thursday and his car was seized as a result of the investigation. McCoy had more than $5,000 in cash on him at the time of the arrest. He was charged with trafficking marijuana and obstruction.
