MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Just one day after Myrtle Beach Police sought the public's help to locate a wanted assault suspect, that suspect turned herself in to authorities.

An arrest report from Myrtle Beach Police shows 23-year-old Luisa Ventura, wanted on the felony charge of assault and battery by mob, turned herself into police Wednesday morning around 7:36 a.m.

An incident report obtained from Myrtle Beach Police shows Ventura was in Club Boca at Broadway at the Beach on Saturday night when she stepped on the foot of a female victim dancing the electric slide with her husband.

A short argument between Ventura and the victim ended when Ventura left the club, but the report claims she later returned with two friends.

Ventura and the two others she came back into the club with began dancing near the victim and bumping into her as another argument ensued.

That argument escalated as Ventura reportedly hit the victim, forcing her to the floor and the others punched and kicked the victim in the face. The victim said she screamed for help but no one could hear her over the loud music.

The report says the victim suffered deep red bruises.

Police sought warrants for Ventura's arrest on assault and battery by mob charges, and posted a wanted poster on their website before Ventura turned herself in.
