Myrtle Beach Police investigating armed robbery report

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach Police are investigating a reported armed robbery that happened early Saturday morning.

According to a police report, just after 4 a.m. Saturday, two men approached two teenaged men who were getting out of their car along 3rd Avenue North and Chester Street.

The victims said one of the robbers pulled out a gun and demanded money from the 19 year old victim who had been driving the car. They said the other robber robbed the 18 year old passenger.

The robbers stole cash, cell phones and debit cards, according to the police report.

One of the robbers was described as a black male standing 6 feet tall with short black hair. He was wearing a white shirt and black jeans at the time.

The other robber was described as a black male standing 5'10" with short hair. He was wearing a red shirt and dark jeans.
