No injuries reported in structure fire on Burcale Rd.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Crews with Horry County Fire Rescue were on the scene of a structure fire in the Myrtle Beach area Saturday morning.

Assistant Chief for Horry County Fire Rescue, Justin Gibbins, says units with Battalion Two responded to a reported structure fire on Burcale Road shortly before noon Saturday.

When crews arrived, there was smoke showing from a two story multi-family home in the Courtyard I Apartments, Gibbins said.

Gibbins added that shortly after 12 p.m., crews were able to get a line on the fire in the floor and walls, and start to open up the third floor loft.

Around 12:20 p.m., the fire had been extinguished. Gibbins said there were people in the home when the fire started but no one was injured.
