NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A boat capsized and sank more than a mile off the south jetty of Wrightsville Beach on Wednesday.

"I'm sitting on the bow of the boat," a woman told 911 dispatch operators. "I'm the only thing out of the water right now."

Four people were on the boat, including two off-duty sheriff's deputies, according to Sergeant J.J. Brewer with the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office.

"I'm getting ready to lose you," the frantic caller told 911. "I'm going under water!"

All passengers aboard were located and rescued without any injuries. Three of the passengers were wearing life jackets, according the 911 call, and the other was able to hold onto one.

The boat has not been recovered yet, but officials at the scene said it's located between the south end of Wrightsville Beach and Masonboro Island.
