LORIS, SC (WMBF) Detectives with the Horry County Police Department are releasing few details in an overnight shooting in the Loris area of the county.

Officers were called out to the 2300 block of Barts Road in Loris at about 2:40 a.m. Wednesday morning.

When they arrived, officers found a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers say the victim was shot in the foot and the hip area. The shooting victim was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.

Investigators with the Horry County Police Department continue to investigate this incident. Report any information about this crime to police at 915-TIPS.
