Food trucks now serving downtown

Posted: Updated:
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Downtown workers and tourists now have a new eating option. The first food trucks in a pilot program parked and served downtown on Wednesday.

Food truck vendors are limited to nine zones.

They have to park at least 150 feet away from fixed location restaurants and they have to pay a one-time fee.

City leaders are looking at possible permits for all food trucks in the city, regardless of where they park.
