FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) Investigators with the Florence Police Department have released photos of two suspects in the reported armed robbery of a woman on her way to work Monday morning.

Major Carlos Raines, spokesperson for the Florence Police Department, tells WMBF News that two men pulled in a driveway on Waxwing Drive Monday morning around 6 a.m., blocking in a woman leaving for work.

Raines said a black male got out of the car and asked for directions to Palmettos Street. The victim says she gave the suspect directions then got into her car and locked the doors.

The victim told police the suspect got back in his car, but returned, banged on her windows and smashed them with a gun.

The suspect then reportedly grabbed a bag from the victim's car containing credit cards and other items, before fleeing back to his car with another black male and driving away.

Raines said the suspects were driving an older model silver Impala.

The two suspects were caught on camera attempting to use the stolen credit cards nearly an hour after they were stolen from the victim.

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of these suspects should contact Florence Police at 843-665-3191 as soon as possible.
