MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) A man is charged with assault and battery after police say he attempted to grab a woman's chest in a furniture store Tuesday afternoon.

In an incident report obtained by WMBF News, the victim in this reported assault states that a white male in his late forties entered the used furniture store she works to inquire about some of the items in the store and began looking around before he approached her.

The victim said the suspect told her that he was a landscaper.

The victim then said that the suspect pushed her against a door and tried to kiss her. She pushed the suspect away from her and he then attempted to grab her chest, the report states.

According to the victim, the suspect then said, "I made the wrong assumption," after which the victim had to continue to stop the suspect and push him away.

As the victim was pushed the suspect toward the door, the suspect again tried to grab her chest.

As the victim forced the suspect out of the store, she claims the suspect asked, "Are you sure?"

The suspect reportedly rode off from the furniture store on a bicycle. After calling the police and giving a description of the suspect, officers were able to locate the suspect riding a bicycle on Oak Street six minutes later.

The report states that the victim positively identified her assailant at that location. Johnny Ray Longworth, 48, was arrested and transported to the Myrtle Beach Jail where was charged with assault and battery.

Del Routh, spokesperson for the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, said Longworth is wanted by Shallotte Police for breaking and entering. He is also wanted by the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office.
