DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) Four fugitives from justice are back in police custody after being captured along Interstate 20 through Darlington County Monday.

Darlington County Sheriff Wayne Byrd said that four individuals were arrested along Interstate 20 Monday at four different traffic stops and three of them are awaiting extradition.

One of the fugitives, 32-year-old Loteria Marsh of Fayetteville, NC, was wanted for drug and probation charges out of Morgan County, GA. Obsey McAllister Jr, 20, of Lamar was sought by the Lamar Police Department for possession of stolen goods.

Dominique Wiley, 20, of Erwin, NC was wanted for uttering forged interments. Andrew Ellis, 26, of Dunn, NC was wanted for sex crimes against a child, Byrd said.

Byrd added that the Darlington County Sheriff's Office has units patrolling I-20 thanks to funds from a federal grant.

"We applied for and received grant money so that we could combat the criminal activity that passes through or comes to Darlington County via the interstate system" said Sheriff Wayne Byrd. "To date, the Darlington County Sheriff's Office has seized several pounds of illegal narcotics, thousands of dollars in money, guns, and fugitives," said Sheriff Wayne Byrd.
