SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) The mailer for Gerry Wood Auto in Salisbury that advertised a special sale going on through Wednesday had some great deals on new cars and SUV's, only one of those deals proved a little too good to be true.

A 2012 Dodge Challenger was being advertised for  a little over $3400. The ad showed the suggested retail price as $26,410, and a sale price of $3419. That showed a savings of $22.991.

The printer reversed the sale price number with that of the discount, meaning the car actually costs $22,991.

A spokesman at Gerry Wood told WBTV that they were aware of the mistake and had a letter of apology from the printer to show anyone who may want to try and take advantage of the deal that was just a little too good.
