MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) A Myrtle Beach man is behind bars Thursday after allegedly trying to make a young boy watch a pornographic movie earlier in the month.

According to a police report obtained by WMBF News, an officer with the Myrtle Beach Police Department was informed by a complainant about an incident of child abuse that occurred on Feb. 6. The complainant told police she picked the victim up from his grandmother's house and was handed a note by Henry Leonard Mccray, 48, also known as "Squeak."

In the note, Mccray, listed as a relative of the victim's, said he would watch the victim and the victim would be able to stay at his home overnight.

She took the victim to Mccray's home around 7:15 p.m. and then returned at 8 p.m. with some snacks and a change of clothes for the victim. An hour later, the complainant said Mccray brought the victim to her home and told her the victim was not listening. He then left the victim with her, the report said.

When she asked the victim what happened, he allegedly told her Mccray was angry because the victim refused to watch "the porno." She said she then contacted the child's father who said he would handle the situation.

Officers spoke with the victim, who said Mccray took him back to the complainant's house because he wouldn't watch a "porno" and said the people in the movie were not wearing any clothes.

Wednesday, officers arrested Mccray and charged him with disseminating obscene material to a minor 12 years of age or younger.

He remains incarcerated at the Myrtle Beach Jail at this time.
