MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Myrtle Beach Police are investigating a reported hit and run involving a local business Wednesday afternoon, and say the driver later came back to the scene.

Capt. David Knipes, spokesman for the Myrtle Beach Police Department, said a beige pickup truck struck the SaveMart located at 600 N. Kings Highway around 2:15 p.m. The driver and a passenger, both described as white males, reportedly fled the scene heading toward North Ocean Boulevard.

Knipes told WMBF News both later returned back to the scene.

The damage to the building was said to be minimal.
