Myrtle Beach Marathon forecast and road closures

In less than 14 hours runners from across the country and beyond will start their Myrtle Beach Marathon journey of 26.2 or 13.1 miles, and WMBF News will be there to cover it all, LIVE.

Live coverage from the marathon will begin at 6 a.m. Saturday and will stream live on on our marathon info page.

Marathon runners will be happy to know the Storm Team is forecasting a cloudy but dry run for the roughly 7,000 runners prepared to take over Myrtle Beach. WMBF Storm Team Chief Meteorologist Rob Hatchell breaks down the race day temperatures and rain chances here.

Of course, you can track the wet weather moving into our area on the Storm Team Weather App by downloading it to your iPhone or Android. If you would like to receive daily forecast emails sent straight to your inbox, you can sign-up here for free.

WMBF News will continue our race weekend coverage at the after race party at the House of Blues. If you want to stay up to date with news that happens in the Grand Strand and Pee Dee, sign-up here for the WMBF headlines email.
