HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) Officers with the Horry County Police Department are searching for a man who held up another Kangaroo gas station along Highway 9 Tuesday night.

According to a police report obtained by WMBF News, officers responded to the Kangaroo located at 3498 E. Hwy 9 around 11 p.m. in reference to an armed robbery. The victim told police a black male entered the store and requested a pack of Newport cigarettes.

The victim said she told the suspect she couldn't open the drawer to which the suspect said "I'm not kidding around, don't make me use this on you," the report said. When the victim backed away from the register, the suspect left the store with no money and just a pack of cigarettes.

The suspect then fled on foot over Sea Mountain Highway and down Pecan Lane. He has been described as being between 25 and 35-years-old with a slight moustache on his upper lip. He was wearing a cream colored hat with a green brim with an unknown team logo on the front, a puffy jacket and dark jeans at the time of the robbery.
