FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) The Make-A-Wish Foundation and the West
Florence High School have partnered together to grant the wish of one very
special Florence girl Friday morning.
Grace, a beautiful 5-year-old with a bright smile and brown
eyes, suffers from the neuromuscular disease spinal muscular atrophy, which has
caused her to undergo multiple surgeries.
Her wish has been to visit Disney World and the Make-A-Wish Foundation
is going to make that dream come true.
The event will take place at 11 a.m. at West Florence High
School where students and special guests will be on hand to grant Grace her
wish with a round trip ticket to Disney World.
Additionally, the event will also celebrate the late Hannah
Sharper's birthday. Sharper, a former Assistant Principal at West Florence, passed
away in June of 2011.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation said Grace can't wait to meet
Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
