HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) Horry County officers have arrested a Little River man for allegedly yelling at his neighbor about a tree in nothing but his birthday suit Monday morning.
According to a police report, officers responded to the Channing Drive area of Little River around 11:30 a.m. for a report of indecent exposure. When they got there, they spoke with a neighbor who said Paul Matthew Lancetta, 52, had been outside in his yard wearing nothing and holding a towel in his hand. According to the neighbor, Lancetta began yelling at him about a tree overhanging his house.
A witness reported to police that Lancetta was in his front yard wearing only a teeshirt and no clothes on below the waist. At that time, the witness said he saw Lancetta bend over and expose his backside. Later on, when the witness was speaking with the neighbor in their yard, he saw Lancetta wearing no clothes at all.
When officers tried to talk to Lancetta, they reported he came out of his home wearing just a towel around his waist. He reportedly was very loud with officers and tried to walk away. Officers then tried to get his identification to which he replied "when I find it, I'll give it to you," the report said.
Lancetta allegedly continued being loud and told officers he wanted to lodge a complaint against his neighbor. He then went into his house and turned his music up louder than the county ordinance allowed, to which the officer informed him to turn the music down.
Lancetta was later arrested and charged with indecent exposure. Bond has not yet been set.
