HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) The Horry County Police Department hopes the public can help them solve two separate burglaries at a local antique that occurred twice in just over a week.

Sgt. Robert Kegler, spokesman for the Horry County Police Department, said officers were looking into the identities of any suspects responsible for stealing collectible coins on Jan. 10 and Jan. 20 at the Fox and Hound Antiques shop located at 160 Rodeo Drive in the Myrtle Beach area.

According to Kegler, officers responded on Jan. 10 in reference to an alarm and found the front glass door of the shop shattered. The owner then informed officers that a large amount of collectible coins were missing.

Just 10 days later on Jan. 20, the front glass door was again shattered and a large amount of collectible coins were stolen from the shop.

Anyone with information into the burglaries and where those coins might be is asked to contact the Horry County Police Department at 843-915-5350 or 843-915-TIPS for those who wish to remain anonymous.
