FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) The Florence County Sheriff's Office has arrested two men in connection to an armed robbery on Saturday.
Capt. Mike Nunn, spokesman for the Florence County Sheriff's Office, said Julius Elliott, 20 and Carlton McCullough, 21, both of Lydia are now facing several charges including kidnapping and armed robbery after allegedly conspiring to kidnap and rob a victim.
According to investigators, Elliott used the vehicle he was driving to block the victim's vehicle along Brittany Drive. McCullough then got out of the vehicle and entered the victim's, demanding money at gunpoint and refusing to leave.
Shortly after fleeing the scene, both Elliott and McCullough were stopped by deputies and arrested.
Elliot has been charged with kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, unlawful carrying of a pistol and the unlawful sale or delivery of a stolen pistol.
McCullough has been charged with kidnapping criminal conspiracy, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, financial transaction card theft, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of cocaine.
Nunn said the victim was not physically injured in the incident. Elliott and McCullough will be held at the Florence County Detention until a bond hearing.
