BENNETTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) A 55-year-old woman has been found
dead following a fire in Bennettsville, according to the Marlboro County
Coroner's Office.
Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown told WMBF News Mary Ellen
Waye was found dead in her home in the 1300 block of Beverly Creek Road.
Further details surrounding the fire have not been released
at this time, and it is unknown if any foul play is suspected.
Brown said Waye's body will be taken to the Medical
University of South Carolina for an autopsy.
