MBPD responds to shooting incident

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) A 49-year-old man and his roommate are recovering from wounds Tuesday afternoon following a home invasion and shooting.

According to the Myrtle Beach Police Department, the shooting occurred around 10:10 p.m. along the 1200 block of Pridgen Road.

One of the victims told police he and his roommate were shot during an attempted robbery inside their home.

The suspects have been described as two black males wearing ski masks on their faces at the time of the robbery, according to a police report.

Both were last seen running west on Pridgen Road toward Highway 15.

A victim was transported to the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
