NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Aynor wasn't the only area to see power outages early Wednesday morning, over 130 Santee Cooper customers were without power in the North Myrtle Beach area after a vehicle collided with a pole.
Mollie Gore, spokeswoman for Santee Cooper said a car struck a pole, knocking down a power line near North Myrtle Beach Middle School just after midnight.
The collision resulted in about 130 residents without power for about three hours. Gore said 17 additional residents were without power for a longer period of time.
Power has since been restored to the area.
