MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Now that 2012 is officially underway it's time to put together our wish list for the next 12 months. 

Consider This: Here are 5 things that would have a positive impact on all of us in 2012:

  1. Unemployment rates drop into the single digits
  2. Major job announcements in the Grand Strand and Pee Dee
  3. Construction begins on I-73
  4. The housing market rebounds
  5. Another record breaking year in tourism

The New Year offers the opportunity for a fresh start and there is reason for cautious optimism. What will make this year a good year for you? When we look back in December I'm hopeful we'll all say 2012 was a great year.
