2 dead, 1 injured in North Charleston murder-suicide

Authorities say two people have died in a murder-suicide after a domestic dispute at home on Friday evening in North Charleston.

The North Charleston Police Department was called out to a home in the 2100 block of  Victory Lane near Midland Park Road around 6 p.m. When officers arrived on the scene they found three people suffering from a gunshot wound.

Witnesses told police that a 24-year-old man came to the house looking for his 21-year-old wife. The suspect then got into an argument with the woman that led him to pulling out a hand gun, shooting the victim female victim.

Police says the mother of the victim came into the room to attempting to get between the both the suspect and victim and was also shot.

According to investigators the suspect then turned the gun on himself.

All three victims were taken to MUSC where the 21-year-old victim and 24-year-old suspect later died. The victim's mother is listed in serious but stable condition.

The Charleston County Coroner's Office has not released the identities of the deceased.
